Q: My Gmail has been working fine until today. Now I cannot send messages. I can receive them fine.

For most issues sending or receiving email with the Mail application on your Mac, start with the article below to go over the settings and checking the status’s of common email providers to make sure there are no issues on their end. If that does not work, look at using Mail Connection Doctor to see what the specific issue is with sending your email.
