If I photograph the sun with my iphone 5s during the eclipse will it damage it

You'll need a long lens to be able to take a picture of the eclipse. The angular diameter of the sun is only 0.5° - so the sun will only show as a few pixels.
The Aperture of the iPhone camera is very small, so it is unlikely that the fully occluded sun will damage the sensor like it would on a larger camera with a larger Aperture, but I would on risk it.
