Youtube automatically scrolling down in safari

When watching a youtube video in safari, hovering over the dock with my mouse makes the page jump down, just far enough so i can't see the video. I did not see this occurring with any other site then youtube so far.

This is terribly annoying, and i have no idea what could cause it. I tried googling the problem, without a good result. I tried resetting Safari and restarting, those didn't help either.

This is going on for a couple of weeks now.

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this?

MacBook Pro Early 2011

Safari version: 8.0.4

OSX version: 10.10.2

(The Yosemite install was fresh, not an update. I had to do this due to a crash during the installation.)

This isn't a Safari issue. I use Chrome for PC and when you hover over the last visible Related Video on the right hand side of the screen, YouTube jumps down so that last visible video jumps to the top of the screen. It's incredibly annoying and it's been happening for a couple weeks to me, too, just as you've said.

The problem is detailed here https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/youtube/Vpa-9JUDnaw
