Mar 19, 2015 11:15 AM in response to Nan1957by Niel,Click here and follow the instructions. When you reach step 5, insert its original disk, restart with the C or Option key held down, use the Disk Utility to erase the internal drive, and install a fresh OS.

- Boot from the installer disc by restarting and holding down the C key until the Apple logo appears with a spinning gear below it.
- When startup completes you may be asked to enter your language.
- At the main install screen click once on the target drive, then click on the Options button.
- Select the option to do an Erase and Install.
- Click on the OK button.

Mar 19, 2015 11:30 AM in response to Nan1957by Nan1957,Is there any way of doing it without the install disc? This computers are like 10 years old and i just recovered them, i might have the disc but im not sure, the only thing i want to do to them is to delete all the data they have.

Open System Preferences>Accounts, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
In the same pref pane highlight your old account, click the little minus icon, then use Disk Utility to Secure Erase Free Space.
