Q: My iPhone volume isn't working. help please!

my iPhone volume is working, if it is an alarm or sound check it works but my music doesn't. I have tried everything help

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.2

Are you using the built-in Music app? Are you listening with headphones? What does the volume control display look like?

You say you have tried "everything." We're going to need more details than that. Please let us know what you have tried.

anything which produces sound is not working. It only works of I use headphone. If my headphones Arnt in the volume bar isn't even there and doesn't show up If I press the volume buttons. it says on AirPlay that im am connected to a dock connector but I'm not. my volume only works when it says iphone not dock connector but it only stays like that for a few seconds then goes off again. I cleaned my dock connector with a tooth brush because that's what it suggested on the Internet and everything and still my voume isnt there

I have the same problem. I reset my phone to default settings and i am still having the issue. When i Click the volume up or down, the bell symbol pops up but with no sound bar showing how high or how low the volume is. It is like the volume bar disappeared.
