Q: Why does my lock screen look corrupt?

Hi, sometimes (after the most recent software update) my lock/startup screen looks like...this. Help?

You do not say what year MBP or operating system you have. Does this only happen at the login screen? You might need to do a pram or SMC reset. Check this link out.https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201177

Hi- sorry, chrome wasn't letting me put that info for some reason. I have Yosemite 10.10.1 and it's an early 2011 model.

It only happens at the login screen.
