Cross emoji?

How about keyboard shortcut for a cross ? Go to settings> general> keyboard> shortcuts. Tap the + sign, copy the cross below and paste it into phrase. Type cr into shortcut.. Tap save. Now when you type cr and a space you will get ✞.

Thanks, I found if you can copy/paste something into phrase the iPad will print it. Here's three more I've done;

These iPads are remarkable.

Not strictly a cross by itself. There are however two churches with a crosses on them:

Tap the "Car" icon at the bottom of the screen under the emoji keyboard. The two churches are on the first page. Other than those, I see nothing else.
