If you create an event and do NOT put location. (maybe you have to look it up or whatever). Then you get the location and now open the event again and try to put the location in. NOT POSSIBLE! The field for location is NOT THERE!!!?

hi-the screenshot shows the event after i double-clicked to edit. As you can see, I can add invitees or attachments. I can also edit my existing notes, but there is no place to add location (though there WAS a field labeled location when I initially created this event).
Do you have the same problem with all events, or only that one? What about events in other calendars? Is the calendar synchronized with a network service such as iCloud or Google?
ALL events. Im sync'd w Exchange and (I believe iCloud) as well.
You can't sync a calendar with more than one service. It's either Exchange or iCloud, or neither, but not both. If the calendar is synced with an Exchange server, the server may not allow a location to be added. That's something you would have to take up with the server administrator.
ok, i misunderstood your question. this particular event is sync'd to Exchange.
so.... I stumped ya? 🙂
The only solution I have found is to add the location on my iPhone, and then it propagates (and makes the field available) to the Calendar on the computer.
