No sound output to pioneer car deck

iPod Shuffle: So I'm driving down the road, music playing and then nothing. All controls to iPod from the Pioneer still work. I can still advance songs, display shows the song but no sound. Radio works, CD player works. The Shuffle always worked until then. Probably nothing a hammer can't fix!
