any issues with transferring FCP docs to new hd?
I need to upgrade the external HD I use for FCP Docs folder (renders and such) in final cut 7. Is there any special procedure here? Will I need to re-render everything?

Just drag over, and try to keep the same file structure. If you can, make the new drive the same name as the old drive, and keep the exact file structure of everything...and FCP will link right up. Drag and drop works fine, or Carbon COpy CLoner if you want a full and exact copy.
