canon printer keeps going offline

My Canon Pro 10 printer keeps losing its wifi connection. I have deinstall3ed and reinstalled the software and the printer twice. any suggestions?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Network Printer Troubleshooting

If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
