FaceTime is not working on different country SIM

Hi,

I buy a iPhone 6 in Bahrain and travel to india. I notice in india that FaceTime application icon suddenly vanished once local SIM card inserted. I consult with apple care support and they are saying this is regional regulation. I checked all regulation in bahrain and there is no such restriction from bahrain government.

I urge apple product team to resolve the issue ASAP.

It is like restricting my usage to only Bahrain. I can not use application outside bahrain.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.2

What is the model number of the iPhone. Look at Settings=>General=>About

=>Model. You may have to scroll to get to the entry for model.

If the iPhone was originally meant for the Middle Eastern markets where FaceTime

is prohibited, you will not be able to use FaceTime even if the iPhone is moved

to a country where FaceTime is allowed. While Bahrain may not prohibit FaceTime,

you could have been sold a gray market iPhone from a country where FaceTime is

prohibited. Provide the model number so someone may offer a solution.
