I got my TMobile iPhone 6 plus unlocked. My boyfriend is using it with his company. Now, my phone (six regular) will not recognize his phone (6 plus) as an iPhone, so imessage is showing as text, and I can't send him emojis, but he can send them to me. Both his email and phone is in the send and receive places under settings. Help!

Try restarting your iPhone (hold down the lock button and home button until you see the Apple logo). Try sending him an iMessage again. If that doesn't work, try with other iPhone users. See if you have the same issue with them or if it is only with your boyfriend's iPhone.
If your boyfriend's iPhone was provided by his employer, there is the possibility
that the employer is blocking messaging for security or other corporate purposes.
Can your boyfriend send iMessages to any one other than you? Can he receive
iMessages from any one other than you? Can he send/receive from people not
using his corporate network? Do you have this problem only when he is at work,
or does it exist at home as well?
