Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you updated iTunes and now Home Sharing is not working from a PC to your other devices. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Have a good one,

Mar 23, 2015 2:25 PM in response to mario49by trevorgale,Unfortunately, there is no answer for me here. Itunes on my PC has homesharing turned on, all devices have the latest software (itunes, pad, iphone and apple TV 2nd and 3rd Gen) and homesharing turned on and yet none of the devices can see my itunes library. This was not previously the case and I have checked the network connectivity and all devices are visible on my home network and all devices can see the itunes store etc. across the internet.
I can only therefore deduce that it is itunes on the PC that is at fault or homesharing has changed to using a different port that is blocked on my router by default (which I can't see being the case otherwise everybody would be having the same problem).
I have tried rebooting all devices and my router and I have tried a total wipe and restart of my apple TV but all to no avail.

Apr 11, 2015 10:55 AM in response to mario49by trevorgale,After some long evenings over the phone testing everything possible with the apple support engineer but to no avail, apple has released itunes version 12.1.2 today and homesharing is fully back up and working again.
