Just a little while ago I unboxed my 2014 Retina MBP 13" and noticed two very minor specks on top of the case. I tried using a damp cloth but they are not coming out. Has anyone heard of this?

Blemishes are not unheard of, but don't effect the function.
If it is something you are not happy with you have a 14 day return policy to return or exchange your purchase.
Thanks! Since it was purchased by someone else (already nice of them enough as it is) I am probably just going to live with it. 😁
It is just weird to notice something like that right off of the bat.
