lost iphone

My son's phone was stolen. I put my number on his phone in case it was located. I have received 2 identical text messages from 2 different number saying "iphone device was found near view location Please confirmed." Is this bogus?

The text messages are bogus. Contact the police and report the iPhone as stolen. You can track the iPhone via icloud at www.icloud.com. Click the "Find my iPhone" and you can track the iphone. Do NOT try to go find it yourself. Give this information to the police.

I just got the same random text from a 210 number. The message said:

"iPhone device was found near

view location

Please Confirmed

View location"

and then it had this link in the text: "http://findmy-iphone.phpnet.us/"

I've been apartment hunting on Craigslist so I'm thinking it must be some phishing scam.. Bogus text trying to get me to click it.

If anyone knows what this is, please let me know, otherwise I'm deleting it.
