Who is virusprotectionteam.com ?

i Have received a message on Safari saying that a virus has been detected and that Safari is blocked. In order to solve that I need to call a phone number. How can I know this is the support team from Apple ???

This will NOT be Apple. Do not call the number.

To get rid of the screen: Force quit Safari, then restart Safari while holding the shift key.
