Q: Imac doesn't restart after installation of OS X Yosemite

AFter downloading and installing OS X Yosemite on my iMac, the system doesn't restart. It blocks at about half of the bar below the apple. Any ideas on how to reboot?

Here are some start up commands you might like to try Startup key combinations for Intel-based Macs - Apple Support
Personally I would try in Recovery mode...OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support
