I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many MB I can send in an MMS on Verizon and how many MB I can send over iMessage? Sometimes I'm not sure if the person is getting the video or not. Also does it compress the video's any?

You would have to ask Verizon if they have any restrictions on MMS, but if you are using iMessage, you are sending your message somewhat like an email. It uses data. I've not read of a restriction on size in the User Guide. If you are sending via iMessage, you should see a Delivered message if it is delivered. And yes, video is compressed.
I know it uses Data, I have plenty of Data, and wifi for home. I use iMessage on my Macbook more than on my phone but I never know how long of a video I can send because I don't know the MB limit.
I see delivered, however people have told me the message was blank,but only on extremely long videos. This is why I'd like to know specifically how many MB, As I do know how many MB my videos are.
I don't see any information as I said earlier. The only other restriction could be on the part of your ISP. You would have to contact them about that. I'm not sure if it would be something similar to email or not. However, since it goes through the Apple servers, you might want to try researching this as well.
The real purpose of iMessage and MMS is for short messaging and small content. If you have large content, such as a long video, you should send that in a different method.
I know Verizon will send a few MB. But I wonder if I can send like a 500MB video over iMessage. I wouldn't have any restriction except for Apple. Most of the time I'm on iMessage on the computer and not Verizon. But sometimes Verizon. I just figured it'd send way more than an MMS message would.
I would say that 500MB is awful large for an attachment, even compressed. You are talking about sending something almost the size of a full CD. I'm certainly don't speak for Apple, but I would have to say that is probably too large. I would consider something like DropBox to share that with someone else.
I understand, but that is way to large to send over email, or any other type of media like that. That is why files of those sizes are handled by ftp servers, or are posted on websites so others can download in that manner.
Yes, I usually do a file sharing service but was wondering if I could. They are large because they are usually GoPro videos shot in high resolution.
