Where are files received by Airdrop files stored on an iPad?
I just sent a file from my iMac to my iPad Air 2 using AirDrop. Where can I locate that file on my iPad?

Greetings highflyer*,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you used AirDrop to share an item to your iPad and would like to know how to access it. For this question, I would recommend reading over the attached link and use it as a reference.

To receive files on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, click Accept when you see an AirDrop notification.
To view a file you've received, open an app that works with that kind of file. For example, you can view word processing documents in Pages, and images in Photos.
Cheers,
Joe
what about file that does not works with any installed app in iPhone?
Hi maulanamania. I don't think you can AirDrop such a file, because it cannot be stored. It might go to a file manager app, if you have one. What kind of file do you have in mind?
