Mar 22, 2015 7:59 AM in response to Ron Stephens1by lllaass,Does another DVI monitor work?
Maybe a problem with digital output on the card's DVI-I connection. The DVI-I connection includes both a digital output for DVI and HDMI as well as a separate analogue output for VGA.

Mar 22, 2015 9:18 AM in response to lllaassby Ron Stephens1,Again - and sorry if this was unclear - I have tested everything in the signal chain (I'm a hardware repair tech - mostly audio gear) and it all does what it's supposed to do. But the TV, while it seems to know something is connected, doesn't seem to recognize the video.

Mar 22, 2015 9:26 AM in response to Ron Stephens1by lllaass, you said this "It works via DVI-VGA."
But does the DVI card connection work with DVI monitor?

Mar 22, 2015 9:28 AM in response to lllaassby Ron Stephens1,Can't try that. No DVI equipped monitor. Just HDMI & VGA.

Mar 22, 2015 9:31 AM in response to Ron Stephens1by lllaass,So you have not tested the digital output of the card's DVI-I connection. The digital connection seems to be bad but the separate analogue for DVI-I.VGA is working.
What happens if you only have the DVI>HDMI monitor connected during bootup If a bot screen shows that would indicate a software problem.

Mar 22, 2015 9:33 AM in response to lllaassby Ron Stephens1,Restart w/HDMI only returns blue screen (the TV/monitor's "off" state) but without the usual "no signal" alert.

Mar 22, 2015 9:40 AM in response to Ron Stephens1by lllaass,Seems like the digital signal out of the DVI-I connection is faulty.
