Unable to pair my Auvio Bluetooth Music Receiver with my Apple TV

I can't seem to pair my Auvio 1500465 Bluetooth Music Receiver with my Apple T.V. When I turn Bluetooth on in Settings, it begins to search but the circle goes around & around and never finds it. I have the Auvio in very close proximity to the Apple TV but it still doesn't pair. The Auvio pairs easily with my iphone and iPad., Any suggestions? Thanks.
