Trouble viewing all pictures in IPhoto

In the photo you can see the boxes that are blank (lower picture). When you look at the events tab you can see that there is information about that group of pictures listed in each box and some with titles but I'm not able to view them. Any thoughts on what might be the problem? My IPhoto version is 9.5.1
