You can also open up Disk Utility & eject discs.

Your drive may need cleaning. Cleaning kits can be purchased from any store that sells CD/DVDs.

Also went to System Preferences CDs & DVDs and made Open Disk Utility as the default action when inserting a blank disc.
I am good to go with these methods.Thanks again!
