How do I get the purchases from 2 of mydifferent Apple ID accounts to combine?

I seem to have, over the years, created two different Apple IDs, I have both the name/email address and the passwords related to each, but wonder if there is some way I can combine them now into one as the purchases made on each are of course different and I would like to tidy up this aspect of my Apple dealings.

I use a bang up to date iMac with Yosemite 10.10.2 an iPad running iOS 8.2 and a new iphone also on iOS 8.2.

Can anyone assist please.

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), Purchased November 2014

Sorry, but purchases from separate Apple IDs cannot be combined.

Obviously, they can be stored in the same iTunes Library, if iTunes has been authorized for both IDs. And if you want a consistent experience managing updates, you can make that seamless by making the passwords on both Apple IDs the same. I have a very old ID that I did some purchases with, and that is how I manage them. With the passwords being the same, I don't have to even pay attention to which app is owned by which ID.

That's about all you can do short of deleting the purchases on the old ID re-purchasing them under the newer one....

Best of luck,
