HELP music won't add to library

Hi I have a bunch of music files that I just got from my usb and I am trying to transfer it to my iTunes library and this is all that is happening. It just says it processed all of the songs but none of the songs are actually going into iTunes. What I tried also doing is adding all of the songs to the actual iTunes music folder and that didn't work either. Help???

Hey There yellowfelow,

The resource below will explain how to add music to your iTunes Library. You may have issues if your USB drive is not formatted for Mac, or if the music files are DRM protected.

Add music to iTunes - Apple Support
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201169

To add more music from your computer:

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Mac: Go to File > Add to Library.
Windows: File > Add Folder to Library. Learn how to turn on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
  3. Navigate to and select the file or folder you want to add.
  4. Click Open.

Accepted file types

You can import these file types into iTunes:

  • AAC
  • MP3
  • AIFF
  • Apple Lossless
  • WAV
  • audible.com (.aa)
  • MPEG-4

Hope that helps ...

- Judy
