Water damaged screen windows install

Ok, so here's the deal. I have a water damaged mid 2012 mac book pro. It's water damaged to the point where it works but it's screen is complety black but I have it hooked up to a tv so it works when on os x. Now heres the problem, I want to install windoes with bootcamp and I have it partitione and a USB with the files but when I shut off my mac it doesn't connect to my tv until I reach the os x screen. So, I can't see all the things I need to press to install windows. Any help would be great

The physical connection can be via HDMI, but the TV should support VGA resolution.

Windows is not installed yet, so you will only have a FAT partition which will become NTFS when Windows is fully installed. If you verify this, in OS X Terminal you can run the following command.

sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

This prints the current MBR which should have 4 entries, with valid values. If it is a single entry you have additional issues.

If an external wired keyboard/mouse are hooked up, the Option key on the internal keyboard has the same function on the external keyboard (if it is an Apple wired keyboard). On a non-Apple keyboard (for example a MS keyboard), the Windows key should work. Alt/Option should also function. You should not need any contorted/intricate routine to get it to work.

As a test, hook up the external wired KM (Keyboard Mouse), close the clamshell/lid. Wait for 15 seconds or more, and then use the Keyboard or Mouse to wake up the Mac, and ensure that you can see the display properly, and the KM function as normal.

I See. Does it have to be vga? I have it through hdmi considering this mac can't natively be hooked up to VGA. My one other questions is this, I can through a intricate process that doesn't make much sense get the menu that appears when you start the mac and hold option to appear on my screen. When i do do this the hard drive labeled boot camp doesn't even appear as an option to boot up with. Any ideas on why?

hey i have another question. So if i uninstall my partition to try again while the laptop is closed, as soon as it restarts my screen flashes gray (which is better than usual) but then it goes to no connection detected. Any clues?

alsoe, with the last reply, it does give me the 4 items on the list and i can get it to work when my computer is closed. The problem is that after i partition it and it restarts i get no video aside from that gray screen.
