After import into iMove for iOS have audio but no video

I took video on Nikon V2 and files appear as .MOV in Finder. When I import into iMove iOS (latest version, showing 2.1.1 (1844.7) under settings) to iPad Air using camera connect the videos appear with no thumbnail. When I play it there is audio but no video. When I import into iMove on MAC it works.
