will apple put on the Netflix app on apple tv in Australia

You will have to contact Netflix since they are the app developers.

I believe Netflix is launching imminently in Australia - if so it would be logical that it would be available on AppleTV - it was in teh UK when they launched. Fingers crossed for you….

If it does you should just see a Netflix icon appear amidst the others without any updates.

You can sign up via AppleTV and be billed in iTunes if you want to or at Netflix website.
