Whenever I sync my iPhone 6 plus or my iPhone 4 the sync gets to step 6 out of 7 (importing photos) and just stays like that forever. I USUALLY GIVE UP WAITING AND KEEP REBOOTING THE SYNC AND IT WILL FINALLY BE DONE. AND THERE ISN'T ANY NEW PHOTOS TO SYNC ANYWAY. VERY FRUSTRATING !!

Did you try to delete the Photo cache folder?

tried that no help
Did you try to copy all photos to your Mac, backup the phone, set it up as new device, restore from the latest backup again and see if you can sync after that?

I rebooted my Mac Computer and rebooted my phone...................PROBLEM SOLVED !! Thanks for your help anyway
