My macbook is stuck on wallpaper and cursor, no icons
SInce one week my laptop is running slow.
When i started up my laptop (Macbook Snow Leopard OS X 1O.6.8) today, I only got a blue screen.
I managed to solve that with single user mode.
After restarting, it asked for login, which it never does.
After login, only wallpaper and a moving mouse pointer appears. Nothing else.
I tried:
disk utilities, but no problems found
PRAM reset...
safe boot
but nothing helped.
I don't have the install disc with me, but which one could be helpfull: the one that came with the computer or the Snow Leopard disc?
Or there ways to solve the problem without disc?
