Q: MacBook Pro 2011 Yosemite, very slow

Hello everyone,

My question and doubt is simple.

My macbook presents with problems very slowly,

after starting the system is being used a lot of memory, with few open applications. Often without open anything.

My macbook has 4GB Ram, and start using this 3,90 GB.

Was recently replaced the logic board of the Mac.

I thank anyone who can help me

Your problem may not be RAM usage. Please read this:

Try SMC and NVRAM resets:

Then try a safe boot:

Ya... try OGELTHORPE's suggestion.

Alternatively before going further, open Activity monitor and have a look at how the memory is allocated.

If you have developer tools installed on your mac you can use "purge" in terminal to purge the memory.
