Q: Can older charger be used with MacBook Air?

Can older charger be used with MacBook Air? Charger with cylindrical magnetic male end was lost. Charger for older white plastic MacBook is available, but is it safe to use with MacBook Air.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), All solid state.

You have to use the right power adapter.

You can order one from Apple store.
