It used to be that when you sorted by "unread" or the dot in the column heading it would sort first by those unread and then by those replied to and then those forwarded. I found this incredibly useful when trying to clean out inbox as a quick way to see which ones I had dealt with and could file away. But now it no longer sorts by that. I click the dot and nothing changes. Help!

The option to sort emails in the system. See the following article, while it specifically mentions iCloud Mail, it is the same for OS X Mail.

Yes, I am aware of that, but that doesn't answer my question. I want to sort by messages that I've replied to in my Inbox and while it used to work when I sorted by the "dot" (unread messages), it no longer also sorts by unread, then replied to, then forwarded.
Still need help.
