how do I turn off the voice prompt on my computer that dictates everything I do on the computer or the internet

Hit Cmd F5 on the keyboard, or go into System Preferences -> Accessibility -> Voice Over and turn it off there.
I would like to turn off the voice prompt on my computer. There is a voice prompt that dictate every letter I type, place the cursor on etc.
