So I factory reset my iPad (it is on version iOS 8.2) and everything is going fine on iTunes until it gets to the point where it tells me to press ok on my iPad, but my iPad will not get past the connect to iTunes screen. Please help I am utterly desperate here.

That is exactly what happened lol it would not get past that screen, eventually I just clicked the restore button instead of update and that worked. Thank you again sir!
