AUTO SAMPLER

After sampling one of my hardware synth sound,using auto sampler.the aif file sound distorted and choppy.I have check all input levels I have make sure no effect

were'n engaged and so on.Went the same sample file is loaded on the EXS24 sampler it sound fine.There most be a explanation for this. I have converted some of the sounds to use with MACH5 3 and they all sounded terrible. Maybe I a'm missing something? Any suggestion will be appreciated.Thank's
