It says the last website I visited gave me a virus and to click "ok" to repair. Is this a legitimate message?

Do you know how I get rid of it.
Update - I was able to get rid of it by doing a force close of safari. Then held down the shift key and restarted Safari. Then went to Safari>preferences>Remove all website date. All is good!
