Q: xl for mac - how to link paste using keyboard?

Hi

I was a very heavy XL user, and for my home use, bought a mac. I am now needing to do some XL based work at home. I was a very heavy keyboard user while on XL in windows. I am finding it very tough to carry out several simple tasks. There are many online guides, for instance, this one (https://exceljet.net/keyboard-shortcuts#section-footer) which are very useful. But some critical and repetitive tasks are still out of reach. I am especially in need of link pasting - how does one do it? I know that after cmd+c, one has to do ctrl+cmd+v to invoke Paste Special dialog Box, and then I find that it is very cumbersome. While in Windows, after this dialog box came, one could simply do L, which was equivalent of clicking on paste link. In Mac, I am having to press Shift+Tab thrice, then press spacebar. Altogether too cumbersome.

If there is a better way please let me know. If there is a better guide than the one I has posted that will be very useful also. thanks a ton for looking.
