I usually go through Windows Explorer to pull pictures from my iPhone 5 to my PC. However, when I try it doesn't show the pictures on My Photo Stream. Does anyone know a way to do this without using iCloud?

This happens to me if I don't have wifi enabled on my PC....just an Ethernet cable. Find your Photo stream folder in your PC library and make sure wifi is connected from your PC to your router/modem. Your photos should appear in the My Photo Stream subfolder. To upload photos to your phone just put them in the 'Uploads' folder in there.
