I have google calendar activated on my iphone 4, but when I enter a new event on the iphone it does not show up in my google calendar on my computer. What do I need to do?
iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2
I forgot to say that if I add an event to Google calendar on my computer it immediately appears on my iPhone. So it works one way but not the other.

Update on this question. I have just tried to switch off my google calendar on my iphone 4 (IOS 7.1.2) in an attempt to reboot it and make the syncing work, but when I switch the calendar off it says that it is going to delete it. Is this OK - can I get the calendar back with everything intact after I've switched the phone off and on again?
