is it possible to bypass the internal dac?
can i get a digital output , bypassing the internal dac like you can with an iphone?

WIth the camera adaptor , but when you plug it in the nano , just comes up not suported
I don't believe the camera adapter bypasses the DAC and no it will not work with the Nano.
That's nice but (1) as I said the camera connection kit doesn't work with the Nano and (2) according to your blog iOS 7.x or later is required for it to work. The iPod Nano does not run iOS.
