I have a 6th generation ipod nano that will not play songs in succession, it just plays the same song over and over again, can anyone help?!

I have looked everywhere I can think of and cannot find that function...:(
When the repeating song is playing tap the now playing screen and the control will appear.
Either we are not talking about the same ipod or this one is broken ! I tried what you said ( I had tried it before as well) and nothing comes up.
No, it isn't broken, mine has been in my car for some time controlled by it and I haven't used the 6 screen. Went and got it, from the now playing screen swipe sideways to the next screen and the controls will appear.
