Will deleted photos on my iPhone delete from Photos/iCloud
A little confused about how the new Photos app works in regard to photo deletion? Is there a way to clear photos on iPhone, but still keep these photos uploaded in my iCloud for future use?

Deleting pictures from the Photos app will also delete them from iCloud.
If you're using iCloud Photo Library beta, deleted photos will be kept for 30 days before being removed from iCloud. You can read more in the article below:

Before deleting pictures from your iPhone, you may want to back them up using iCloud Backup (which is different from saving them in iCloud Photo Library), and import them to your computer. These links can help you with backing up and importing your pictures:
