my iphone6 is stuck in headphones mode

My iphone6 is stuck in headphones mode. I tried plugging iphone earphones back in again and removing to no avail.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.2

I understand that your phone is acting like the headphones are still plugged in and you are not able to hear from the receiver. You can take a look at the following article for troubleshooting steps to sort out the issue.

If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound quality is poor on iPhone - Apple Support
