How do I change Air 2 telephone number association?

I Associated the incorrect phone number to my Air2. How do I edit this number?

iPad Air, iOS 8.2

Hi Rmears762,

I see that you have an issue with the phone number appearing in your Messages settings. Here is an article about this phone number association, and it explains how you can uncheck that phone number so that it is no longer associated with your iPad:
