Q: Changed Apple ID-- can't sign out of iCloud.

Okay, so I deleted the AOL email account I was using for my Apple ID. So then I changed my Apple ID to my current Gmail email address. But I didn't know that I should have signed out of iCloud before I did that, so now all my devices are screwed up. My MacBook won't even let me sign out of iCloud. My iPhone and iPad keep asking for the password to my old Apple ID. I just want my devices to be connected again... Help?

You will have to try to recover the password or contact Apple for help.

IF you still cannot recover it, contact Apple according to the instructions here.

I have a similar problem but when I go to password reset the email doesn't go to either my new or old email account. I am not paying $39 for someone at apple support to tell me how to fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
