replacing the battery on 160GB classic

I have an iPod classic 160GB charcoal that seems to need a new battery, off to eBay, and evidently there are 2 options, one thicker than the other.

Any way to tell so I can get the right battery and then the amusement of prying open the unit to replace it, i have those blue pry bars, from repairing other apple products that needed service
