New Podcast Episode Not Updating in iTunes

Hello Community,

For some reason, my podcast (Mawalking Radio) seems to have stopped updating the episodes in iTunes. I have validated my feed to see if all is valid, and can't seem to see anything that I might have done different.

I know this because I have subscribed to my episode as a check and my my last three episodes have not updated.

My feed is: feed://www.mawalkingradio.com/feed/podcast/

And to find my episodes in the store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/mawalking-radio/id915210949?mt=2

My episode url is : http://mawalkingradio.com/podcasts/TSS179onMWR.mp3

Any input or suggestions to fix this would be highly appreciated.

Thanks..

When I subscribed to your feed in iTunes it came up empty. I accessed the feed in FireFox (my default RSS reader) and looked at the code - it ground to a halt in line 55:

However when I submitted the feed to Feedvalidator it showed the entire feed with no serious errors. The code looks OK there, but when I looked at that tag in PageSpinner it looked like this"

This is the Tembosounds show on Mawalking Radio , hosted by Dj Osi of tembosounds streaming to you live from Pittsburgh, PA. In this Episode, you will hear and assemblage of some Soulful House, Deep House,Afro House, South African House. Dj Osi’s show streams live every Friday from 5pm-7pm EST. Note the appearing before and after various names. These also appear further down the feed in episodes which evidently used to work and which show in the Store, so I don't know whether this might be the problem - it's certainly not a good idea to have these: I suspect they are word processing codes. If you've been pasting your text in from a word processing program you are likely to bring in formatting codes and forbidden characters such as 'curly quotes'. You need to compose these texts in plain text only. Why it's not caused problems before I don't know, unless you've modified all your descriptions. Certainly the line where FireFox gives up is the first occurrence in the feed of these code characters, which does suggest it's a problem there. iTunes is likely to fail completely when there are formatting codes included.

Incidentally, if you would like me to make any further checks could you please always use http rather than feed when you post the URL, so:

http://www.mawalkingradio.com/feed/podcast/

(Now I've done it, no need to, but for future reference.) (The reason is that I can download the feed directly from the link when it's http, but if it's feed:// I have to put the http version into a local web page as a link in order to get the ability to download it... not impossible but a bit of a fuss.)
