This frustrating situtation has been going on for months and I'm at my wit's end in trying to figure it out. I will be typing a note in email or whatever and all of a sudden the mouse disconnects. Within 10 - 20 seconds it reconnects. Help please.

Try resetting the PRAM and SMC......cannot hurt, might help. Of course, the mouse may also be failing.

I reset the PRAM after of course finding out what PRAM means. It seems to have solved the problem up to this point at least. Thanks very much for the help.
